Interpersonal Violence Prevention Student Assistant

Summary: The IPV Prevention Student Assistant helps the Office of Wellbeing by supporting a comprehensive, trauma-informed, anti-racist violence prevention program using health promotion, prevention, and public health frameworks. The primary objective through health promotion and/or prevention efforts is to support and encourage Wake Forest students to think critically about wellbeing
and take meaningful action to increase positive, health-related and wellbeing behavior.
The IPV Prevention Student Assistant will support programs and strategies that promote personal, campus, and community health and wellbeing. Focus areas include bystander intervention, consent education, healthy relationships, party safety, social norming campaigns, and healthy masculinity.
This position requires 8-12 hours per week (Fall 2024-2025).
