A Wellbeing Workshop is an interactive session led by WFU P.E.E.R.S. members. Workshops cover wellbeing information, skills, and trends for students in the Wake Forest campus community. In Zzzs Get Degrees, you will learn the newest trends and skills for sleep maintenance to support your academic success. Participants will leave this session with strategies and resources for healthy zzzs, because sleep isn’t just for the weary, we all need it to be successful in and out of the classroom!
Do you think you have what it takes to compete in Alcohol & Other Drug Jeopardy? This interactive session is a fun competition that includes information, safety tips, and skills around alcohol and other drugs.
Managing stress is an essential part of everyday life. This session will provide a variety of techniques and strategies to find healthy ways cope with the obstacles of life as a college student.
Are you ready to play Wellbeing Thrivia? (Thrive trivia). This interactive game is a fun way to learn about wellbeing, campus resources, and new strategies to Thrive here at Wake Forest University.
This training utilizes elements from the Step Up! curriculum to help students identify high-risk behaviors, and to have the skills to intervene in a variety of situations safely. Students will learn how to be an effective bystander through the 4 D’s, and how to utilize campus resources for support. This session covers scenarios in mental health, bias, sexual assault, and alcohol and other drugs. This session can be customized to tailor to certain needs and skills upon request.
What do people mean when they talk about the patriarchy? What does feminism and marriage have to do with one another? What are issues women and girls around the world still face? Join us for Beyond the Waves: Getting to Know Feminism to find out!
This interactive workshop will help students become more familiar with feminism. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to define terms related to feminism, and develop skills to critically think about how feminism shows up in U.S. society and around the world.
