Sex Week 2026
Deacs, it’s time for our annual Sex Week! This year SHAG’s theme is Sex in The City.
Join us October 19-23rd!
The Sexual Health Ambassador Group (SHAG) is a peer education group that provides inclusive sexual health information and lessons to students to foster a healthier community.
Sex Week 2026 Programs
Join SHAG for an interactive sexual health game night! Students will spin the wheel to answer trivia questions, complete fun challenges, and test their knowledge on topics such as contraception, STIs, consent, safer sex, and healthy relationships. Participants will have opportunities to win prizes while learning practical sexual health information in a fun, welcoming, and low-pressure environment.
As part of Queer History Month, the PrEP Resource Fair will provide students with information and resources related to HIV prevention, safer sex, and sexual health. Students can learn more about PrEP, HIV/STI testing and prevention, and other sexual health resources available on campus and in the surrounding community. SHAG will distribute safer-sex supplies and incorporate fun, interactive tabling activities to make sexual health education approachable and engaging.
Join SHAG for a Sex and the City Watch Party at the Women’s Center! Students will watch selected episodes while enjoying snacks and engaging in casual conversations about dating, relationships, sex, communication, and sexual health. The event will provide a relaxed, sex-positive space for students to connect with one another while reflecting on how relationships and sexuality are portrayed in the show.
To close out Sex Week, SHAG members will attend the Drag Show hosted by Student Union in the University Activity Space. This event provides an opportunity for students to enjoy drag performances while celebrating creativity, self-expression, and the diversity of gender and sexuality on campus. SHAG’s participation will connect the event to the broader themes of inclusion, identity, sexual health, and acceptance highlighted throughout Sex Week.
